Number two, it’s yo-yos out only at the moment
We have twins incoming so… well she runs a daycare that she now needs to close and even tho I took this new job that pays a lot more, this news has sorta canceled that out. I mean I think we will be okay, this is not a catastrophe, but YoYo buying is off the table lol.
Now if someone wants a solid purple and snags a sick splash to trade… my DMs are open.

Definitely more Chief like on the string now, I’d say it plays and feels in the hand like a more bubbly Chief. Larger in hand and more float with a bit less of that smooth cutting feeling the Chief has.
If I were to have a player edition I think it would ship with brass mini spikes.

I’m hopeful that what this actually means is that the “limited to 100” actually refers to this 28 Stories special edition with the woodburned collector stuff and whatever, and we’ll get a wider release.
Machined by Onedrop is absolutely huge for this though, it’s awesome that they decided to do what everyone was asking for. I feel like that doesn’t happen too often.

you can really tell steve was mad when we asked for this in the p3ak thread because limiting a release like this to 100 pieces ever (ohh maybe maybe) is insane. intentional monkeys paw where its like “we did what you asked but we made literally one, figure it out” when the going rate for an existing peak is like $1000. tell me you dont respect your roots without telling me youre american

OG CAD Peak 1 machined by OD is conceptually cool, but seeing how insanely fast the Summit 2s have sold out, and still have super high demand for- I’m kinda not vibing with this as an exclusive release.
If they’re gonna do this I feel like they need to do more runs, otherwise it’s just scalper fodder for only the collectors and “investors” with the deepest pockets.

Yeah I don’t see a good reason for it, the rationale must be marketing as a halo product to drive hype towards the brand as a whole, but as a consumer I don’t like that.
People only wanting things because they’re exclusive is definitely a real thing, and I guess they don’t want to make their brand less cool by making all of their sought after products easily accessible.
