Since 2015, thanks to an inspiring idea from our friend Gibb, we’ve been donating yo-yos to Toys for Tots, matching his contribution each year with 50-100 yo-yos. Together, we’ve made a difference, and now we’re inviting the community to join us and make an even bigger impact!
For every $10 donation, Gibb, YoYoExpert, and YoYoFactory will each match it, donating a total of 4 yo-yos (SpinStar by YoYoFactory or SnapBack by YoYoExpert).
Choose to donate publicly (and receive a thank-you in our final announcement) or anonymously. Every contribution helps brighten a child’s holiday!
Giveaway Bonus:
We’ll randomly select two lucky donors to win:
Grand Prize: Legendary 888 Titanium Aluminum Bi-Metal Yo-Yo from YoYoFactory
Runner-Up: $50 YoYoExpert Gift Card
Let’s make this year the biggest yet! Last day to donate is December 9th.
(Note: Donations are not shipped and do not incur shipping fees.)
Thank you for your generosity, and special thanks to Gibb and YOU for making this possible!
Greetings! I donate to this fundraiser every year (and just did so again), but because my donation is converted to yoyos, I am technically ineligible to submit for a matching donation from my company. I know that this is obviously a yoyo focused drive and obviously there’s some complexity where the yoyos are either provided at cost or a discount (as $10 converts to 4 yoyos), but if there was an option to participate with a cash donation, I would be able to submit for a company match and double my impact.
I like that approach and always donate to toys for tots. My current firm doesn’t do matching outside of education focused charity unless I file for an exception which those from what I’ve heard rarely get approved.
Either way always happy to donate money to the yo-yos for kids cause
Sorry - longer than a week but here we are! Thanks for everyone’s patience - behind the scenes it has been a busy beginning of 2026!
First off - HUGE THANK YOU to our entire forum community. You guys always come in big and this year was no different. All together we received 222 donations on our website which means we were able to donate 888 yo-yos all together!!! So thankful to everyone who contributed and keeps this going. This year was even a bit more special because we were able to partner up with @MichelleDauer and @JustinDauerYoyos via DXL Yo-Yo Club and got yo-yos shipped out to them for part of the donation on the west coast! Along with our donation on the East Coast and then YoYoFactory doing their portion in Arizona!
We had a great preliminary conversation with Gibb too about the possibility of 2026 looking to work with more forum members to try and get more yo-yos into local toy drives in their area to spread the fun around. More to come on that! Just know we SO APPRECIATE the support of this community in making this happen. And an extra special shout out as well to GIBB who started this whole idea and YoYoFactory who is always willing to jump in a help make it as big of a contribution as it has been year after year!
I will be following up tomorrow with @YoYoExpertEric to announce our winners and the (public) donors will be listed on the page and this post!
We’ve selected the winner of the Legendary 888 Titanium Yo-Yo and the $50 YoYoExpert Gift Card and will be reaching out directly. Since some entries were anonymous, we won’t be making a public announcement, but if you’re the winner, feel free to share here!
Thank you all for making this event so special and impactful. We are incredibly grateful for your generosity.
A heartfelt thank you to the following public donors, and to the 10 anonymous donors who contributed as well.
