Since 2015, thanks to an inspiring idea from our friend Gibb, we’ve been donating yo-yos to Toys for Tots, matching his contribution each year with 50-100 yo-yos. Together, we’ve made a difference, and now we’re inviting the community to join us and make an even bigger impact!
For every $10 donation, Gibb, YoYoExpert, and YoYoFactory will each match it, donating a total of 4 yo-yos (SpinStar by YoYoFactory or SnapBack by YoYoExpert).
Choose to donate publicly (and receive a thank-you in our final announcement) or anonymously. Every contribution helps brighten a child’s holiday!
Giveaway Bonus:
We’ll randomly select two lucky donors to win:
Grand Prize: Legendary 888 Titanium Aluminum Bi-Metal Yo-Yo from YoYoFactory
Runner-Up: $50 YoYoExpert Gift Card
Let’s make this year the biggest yet! Last day to donate is December 9th.
(Note: Donations are not shipped and do not incur shipping fees.)
Thank you for your generosity, and special thanks to Gibb and YOU for making this possible!
If you missed the chance to donate, here’s your opportunity! We’ve extended the deadline to December 15th.
Don’t forget:
For every $10 donation, Gibb, YoYoExpert, and YoYoFactory will match it—donating a total of 4 yo-yos for every $10! Plus, all donors are automatically entered to win:
Grand Prize: Legendary 888 Titanium Yo-Yo
Runner-Up: $50 YoYoExpert Gift Card
Let’s make this year the best one yet! Donations close on December 15th—don’t miss out!
I’ll donate 100 bucks anybody else at least good for 10?
Sorry I missed this thread earlier… Just wasn’t paying attention I guess? I must’ve been writing a book or something.
Just coincidentally, I was thinking about how close it was getting to Christmas and all the kids. I wish they had something to play with besides their fingers.
And after reading The promotion about how other sources would match that 10 bucks, well hell I’ll play.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone in the community who came together to make our Toy Drive a tremendous success!
This year, we received an incredible 373 donations from over 60 people, more than doubling last year’s total. These contributions were distributed across five or six different drop-off locations, reaching multiple communities.
Thanks to the generosity of YoYoFactory and Gibb, we were able to match every donation, bringing the total to an astounding 1,492 yo-yos donated to the Toys for Tots Drive in Arizona and Massachusetts.
A special acknowledgment goes to the YoYo Boomers Club and Throw-Yo for joining forces and raising over $1,000—your support made a huge difference.
We’ve also selected the winners of the Legendary 888 Titanium Yo-Yo and the $50 YoYoExpert Gift Card! Winners will be contacted directly. Since some donations were anonymous, we won’t be announcing names publicly, but if you’re a winner, feel free to share in the comments.
Thank you all for making this event so impactful and memorable! Your generosity means the world

That’s so amazing. I love how much was donated. It’s gonna be hard to match for next year. A special thanks to the anonymous boomer club donor who gave away several high value yo-yos to auction and gave all the proceeds to charity and @G2_Jake and @Pun1sh3R for helping facilitate the auction along with the folks that bid in the auction. They may have got amazing YoYo’s vm but they also supported a fantastic mission. Also as mentioned @rkalajian (throw yo) for facilitating the merch donations and going above and beyond giving most of his margin up on string sales for a period too.
I’m proud to be a part of the YoYo expert forums, the boomer club and the G2 nation all of which contributed in such fantastic ways.
