I do have an OG Hummingbird. Compared to it, the II is just more modern feeling. Increased spin time and stability. It’s a good deal wider and weighs more (than the SS variant I have) but doesn’t feel overly heavy. Very nice hand feel.

I’m going to second @JosiahR with the atmos lamina: fun, smaller diameter throw that does a lot of things nicely.
One Drop’s DS-61 was a delight; I hemmed and hawed on it for a while, as it was wider than I thought I’d like. A couple of messages with @bheinz63 and seeing a video of our patron saint of modern responsive, @edhaponik, throw a DS-61 around and have a lot of fun doing it convinced me to grab one and it’s worked it’s way into consistent rotation.

Forgot that the OD Warlock was this year too! Probably actually my fave of the year. I really want them to do some fancy color Warlocks so I can have an excuse to get another.

i didn’t get many 2025 releases, but the mfd deadly s7ns is a worthy cop for sure. word on the street there may be a 7075 version as well for the christmas drop. i’d really enjoy comparing the two.

2025 Jigun and W1LD brand releases like the Bi Polar, Rumbling PC, Okigokko 3, Marina9, Wildify, halcyon, upshift. LEP/Jigun barely sells anything new in the US market unless they are at US competitions they are helping to sponsor. W1LD is top tier for mass selling around the world. So many good 2025 releases and restocks.

I’ve discovered this year that my preferences are more malleable than I thought, and a yo-yo i bought on a whim to see if wide yo-yos were for me has gradually become my favorite of everything I tried this year. The Yoyofriends netrunner.
I’m hoping to grab a Heron when it drops and a Replicant at some point as my only complaint would be the 58mm diameter is like 1mm-ish beyond my comfort zone (and I’d like a tiny bit more width) but it’s become less of an issue as I’ve played it more, just like width does if you just give one o’ dem wide bois a chance.

Yeah I was referring more to the retailer drop, which I didn’t make clear. I’ve just accepted I’m missing the initial drop, going straight from Christmas to a Disney trip in a week and a half doesn’t leave a lot of wiggle room.
