The 2023 Arizona State Yo-Yo contest has just been confirmed. It will be held Saturday 4/1/23 at Dobson Ranch Recreation Center. Yoyofactory will be putting on the contest, which will include 1A, X-Division, and Sport 1A. Free yo-yo lessons will be given by allyoyo.com.

Same here 90 minutes away and after all these years I’m finally going to states and nationals. Not to compete but to finally see them.

What exactly is ‘Sport 1A’ ? I don’t think I’ve heard of that before.
Less-competitive, for folks who want to compete, but not at the level of a pro.
