I vote yea.

He knows my username! Greg knows my username!

I for one vote ayyyyyyeee!

This contest is the only thing taking the edge off getting older. Sure, I’m now closer to 30 than I am to 20… but at least I’m closer to being able to enter this contest. ;D

Wish it didn’t come with the male-pattern-baldness though. Them receeding hairline feels… puts on hat

I am not equipped to video or submit but I am looking forward to see what others can do. Good luck to all.

Phone. One take, no editing. I’ll set up a drop-box for you and host in on my YouTube. BOOYA, ENTERED IN THE RANDOM DRAWS!

Old folks gotta look out for one another…

OK, so there will be a people’s champion! Going to see if I can figure out how to randomly reward people who take the time to vote, too… only technology and convoluted processes is holding me back at this point.

Gambit: hardly!! HAHA! Sempai. Thanks for the idear.

i cant wait to see what the old folks put out… its always interesting

Only in this day and age would we (over 30) be called old. ::slight_smile:

Just found my film location. But need more material. …

Lets see.
30 second sleeper.
31 second tower.

Then???

Think…

Think…

30 second Rock the Baby?

hey i could refer to you guys as thou with hoary heads… but that would exclude greg since his hair has departed him…

I like to call people over thirty ‘WISDOM CHIEFS’.

Here we go with the first of several prize pack announcements!

These are two packages which will be awarded via a random draw to a lucky entrant in each division! At the time of awarding, we will first randomly determine which pack goes to which division, and then we will randomly select an individual who has entered the contest. A not insignificant number of the YYE “Elders” are big fixie aficionados, and these packs will deliver the goods to those people, or might provide the impetus to get new “Elders” on board the fixed-axle train.

These packs come courtesy of:

  • the fabulous Hildy Bros. (Hildy Brothers – YoYoExpert) who contributed a pair of Curriers (the striped ones) and an Emmett (the small black one). I have a Currier of my own, so you’re in for a treat. Thanks, Hildy Bros!
  • Judge Ed Haponik (notice the capital J) who has sent along a “77 Rules for Yo-Yo Players” set including the illustrated booklet and a custom ProFly. Thanks for judging the contest and sending along this welcome surprise as well, Ed!
  • forum member yooldman, who contributed the Hildy/Higby Curriers and the ProFlys. He also organized the packs, brought Hildy Bros. into the fold, and will be sending out the prizes! yooldman was the “raison d’etre” for this contest in the first place, and it’s humbling to see him continue to be such a strong supporter! Thanks, yooldman!

Pack 1: Hildy/Higby Currier, Laminated Currier, Hildy Bros Emmett, Duncan ProFly, signed Ed Haponik collectible trading card

Pack 2: “77 Rules for Yo-Yo Players” set (booklet and one-of-a-kind ProFly), signed Ed Haponik collectible trading card, striped Hildy Bros. Currier, Duncan ProFly, Hildy/Higby Currier

Enter a video for your chance to win!

Wisdom Chiefs. Hahaha! So wise, me…

Thanks GregP. Now all I have to do is find a phone. I will see what I can do.

One more thing: Great prizes!!!

Wow those are some amazing prize packs.

And we’re just getting started!

Of course, for many the “fixie” packs are what’s gonna get’em drooling, though. Lots of fixie fans around here.
