1.5 or one and a half

Settle a debate for me.

is it the “one point five”, or the “one and a half”? quesiton applies for mounts, hooks (even 2.5, 3.5, etc).

  • one point five
  • one and a half

both are completely fine when referring to the mount, but anybody who says “x and a half hook” over a “x point 5 hook” is 100% a cop

the only time ive heard or seen “one and a half” is for the mount, but i personally default to “one point five” even for the mount

It’s always been 1.5. At least that’s what I heard.

Yeah I usually say “one and a half mount” and “one point five hook”. This is also all in my head as I rarely talk about yoyo out loud. Haha. I think I would just say 1.5 when typing.

One and a half for me, haha. One point five doesn’t make sense for most Europeans, since we use commas instead of dots, so it’s 1,5

Also for me it sound better “one and a half”, one point five is weird how it sound ahahahha European as well here! If I translate straight away from Italian also I would say one and a half
