Have you hit 4.0?
Now I’m kind of curious how far people can go currently… Haha.
- Hook
- Hook 1.5
- Hook 2.0
- Hook 3.0
- Hook 4.0
- Still working on Hook.

I think they mean regular trapeze, like a quadruple or nothing. right?
Lol. You are so right. I’ll put this in a separate thread!
I always feel like my limbs are flailing about when I try more than a regular hook!
Anything more than 2.5 seems impossible
YOu just need to spazz your arms more
I only recently got the hang of doing the old 'ook so may take a while yet before I can do anything fancy
1.0 → 2.5, plus a double 1.0 at the end.
I’ve hit 3.0 a couple of times but i still don’t have the technique down. Locking both your hands in a position and moving them in the same direction is super unintuitive and my brain always forgets how to do it properly lol.
Very smooth! Thanks for sharing the video!
4.0 hook took me soooooooooo long to get and I still can’t hit it consistently lol
4.5 is absolute max for me, not even trying to hit more than that
I can go up to 3.0
Im just a one and done kind of guy. Trying not to blow the shoulder out
for me 2.5 is my best and i hit it way more than 2.0 for some reason.
Ive hit 2.0 hook like 3 times now, it still eludes me 98% of the time lol
1.5 has gotten doable for me now. 2.0 I’ve landed…once I think and was never able to do it again.
It just feels like flailing to me. I kind of understand the mechanics that it’s supposed to use but I can not for the life of me manage to do it.
1.0, 1.00, 1.000, 1.0000, even more than that. Pretty much mastered the 1 I’d say.
the .5 hooks up to 3.5 (because I cant hit 4.5) are way easier because you are landing on your dominant hand.
same for me when trying a 4.0 lol
I hit my first 4.5 hook without fox tail string
edit: use sochi XL/Kohei Nishimura strings if you want to hit more than 3.0. trust me
another edit: I hit it on kohei string
