Killua in HunterxHunter uses looping yoyos as weapons. The yoyos attachment to the upper arms rather than the fingers is also notable.

Here’s some nostalgia. Suite Life on Deck literally third episode in is called “Broke ‘N’’ Yoyo.” Cody enters a yo-yo contest on the ship and is competing against “Johan Yo” aka Grant Johnson (2a national champ twice). He’s not seen much in the episode but he does come walking by in a scene doing some front style hops with what I think is his sig YYJ Revolution but it’s hard to tell haha. I’ll try and record and post the video later when I have time but here’s a pic from the episode of “Cody” rocking the baby
