YoYoFactory X YoYoExpert Worlds Japan Pack! **SPOILER ALERT**

Mine arrived at my house today but I won’t be home till Thursday. This is tuff.

Well, that was a fast ding lol.

Love the Metal Replay, shape, finish, the cup. This thing plays great!

Tried to do a suicide bind thingy and well, missed and ding, off of something. (maybe one of my bikes) At least it wasn’t the ground.

Seriously though, love this thing and can’t wait to beater the crap out of it!

Also the clear replay is alright, nice and vibey but I can pull off a decent enough combo with it. Might just give it away eventually if someone wants to get into yoyos.

Im kinda upset with my box. So i opened my box and unloaded the contents. The bag was kinda cool and i saw the new bearing and i was pretty excited but the real meat of the box was the 2 limited yoyos. I immediately opened the clear replay pro and started practicing some tricks. The yoyo feels smooth, but while on the string its vibey and the bearing is terrible its the loudest bearing I have ever heard… YET. I open the metal replay extremely excited about it and i feel how smooth it is and examine it and I get disheartend a bit noticing that out of the box there is a flat spot and a very tiny prick. I just dealt with it and said whatever. First throw-scccrreeeeccchhh. I couldnt bear it so i open the yoyo up to take the bearing out and the deathgrip was there. I finally got the bearing out and dropped it and it hit the yoyo. Usually im not worried because no other yoyo has gotten any damage from things like this but guess what? Now i have a scratch down the yoyo. So both bearings are louder than a volcano erupting, my metal came with unnecessary damage, and even more damage happened from a small tap of a bearing. This really has me pissed off im hoping noone else had a bad experience with their box.

so i threw my metal replay a few more times amd its semi responsive. Im done with life.

Did you try swapping in the bearing that came with it?

Yes and with either bearing sometimes itll snag and sometimes itll just randomly come up if i tug

You try cleaning the bearings out? I did notice that the bearing can get loud but a quick gyro flop and I can get rid of it.

Both replays seem to stay unresponsive to me so far but I have had the same issue you are having with pretty much every other brand at some point.

Idk ive only had this issue with YYF so far not all yyfs but some of them

Hey YoLife, sorry to hear you’re having some issues with your Metal Replay. It sounds like the bearings might just need a little play to break in, this is pretty common - Or you could try cleaning them if you feel comfortable doing so.

The Replays do have a little bit of a tight bearing seat, it can be annoying to swap bearings, but it’s also what makes them so smooth - It just takes a little patience to get the bearings out with the proper tool. If it really bothers you though, an easy fix is to just grab some high grit sand paper and sand down the bearing seats a little.

If you want to send the yo-yo and bearings back for us to take a look at just give us a call or send an email and we will get it fixed for you.

Thanks,
Garrett

Usually out of habit, I’ll clean and lube my bearings pretty much as soon as I get them on almost any yoyo I get. Not sure if some grit gets in there from when it’s sitting in the warehouse or during manufacturing but just as something I do, I like to start fresh with my bearings and they’ll usually play really well for a long time.

I need to do some tuning/messing with the clear Replay. It’s smoother than it was when I did my first initial throw but still a little bit of vibe. I also had to push the response pad in as soon as I got it as it was slightly raised out of the package. It’s staying in place though.

Metal Replay: Love it!

I am loving both the yoyos. The plastic has a bit of vibe but that is to be expected. It’s crazy how the bolt head side looks like it has melted plastic over it to hold it in place. The metal replay it super awesome, super smooth and really fun to play. I haven’t put the other bearing in anything yet but it’s nice to have another ct. Over all this pack was a great deal.

Plastic replay seems a bit vibey. The metal is loud but SO smooth. The response is red for some reason. Oh well. Still silicon, right? I think the metal is smaller than the plastic.

I believe the red response pads are called “pro pads,” with the idea that they don’t need to be broken in as much as regular ones. I read that somewhere.

What’s up with the blue pads in the plastic replay? First time I’ve seen these.

Every Replay Pro comes with Blue Pads… Every single one.

This my first replay…My very first one.

Yea if you goto shop and click on yyf respo se it tells you the colors and their descriptions

This was my second plastic replay. I was not happy with the first so the new one remains unopened. The Metal Replay, however, is a really terrific throw and made the Mystery Box worth the investment.

At first I wasn’t too crazy about the Metal Replay when I first received it but after playing with it for a while now I appreciate it more and more. It’s so smooth.

Nice, I have 4 Plastic Replay pros and 1 metal replay. I know right… 4?! I just seem to really enjoy the replay pro.
