Yoyo events questions?

I haven’t tried to interact with other yoyoers yet and I wondered if there was any ways to see like competitions and meets. I am Fairly new to this have been yoyoing for like a year and a half now.

I know nothing about the comp scene, but I can tell you I enjoy a few podcasts that give me some insight into the “lifestyle”: Kill Your Yoyo by Hollywood Modern Yo-yos and YoyoPlayer by Steve Brown and Mark McBride, 2 people who helped create a big part of modern yo-yoing.

Post a thread asking if there is a club in your state/ country/ city. Club is the best. Comps are super fun to just go and hang out at even if you dont wanna compete or anything. cool to meet some people and learn a trick or two. try some yoyos. etc.
