Trying to design something for me, if I polish things up I might get a proto run done.

Thanks! I added it for pullstarts, and it also makes everything a bit more spicy than just a W-ish 7068/SS bimetal

That looks cool & well executed. How large are the rings? What’s the main thickness of the cup?

Its about 1.2 mm throughout, thinnest point is 1.22 mm.
By how large are the rings do you mean dimensions or mass? They should be a little more than half the total weight

If you’re 7068 feel free to go a little thinner (around 1mm, even a bit lower if you’d like) and push the extra weight to the rims. Otherwise I’d recommend just going 7075.
Yeah if I do get it made I’ll probably ask the shop about what theyre comfortable with
The thinnest I’ve done on one of my own projects is around 1mm and they still turned out pretty durable (Mk1 Umbra). But yeah, whichever shop you talk to should be able to tell you exactly what they are capable of.

Something fun I cooked up today. Im really anxious about my protos to finish machining and get here 
so I drew up a stainless steel 40x40mm version of it with a d bearing. I have 0 plans for this to ever get made (unless the 5050 does super well???
)but I’ve had a lot of fun with the Euphonious this past week while away so the inspiration was there. It kind of sits between a euphonious and loonie in terms of diameter, but is wider than both of them and has some batman vibes in the shape .
