FreeCAD can convert units when you type them in.
Eg. If you set a dimension to 3/32" it will convert to mm automatically.
Yes as @MarkD said, if you need a certain unit of measurement you should be able to type something like 3.1625mm or 0.1245in
It’s not about the conversion it’s about the system itself doesn’t allow me to input it.
Just type it in?
Then press enter and it will convert.
You can also do the conversion somewhere else and type it in mm.

ill make it clear this will be my first and maybe last yoyo. this is hell. ive been stuck on something so simple as adding a measurement. i hate this program and i am starting to hate designing yoyos as a whole. this is making me suffer with anger and hatred. i will just return if someone makes a more simpler or at least a better program than this mess.
i dont want to suffer anymore from this.
It’s not really clear to me what the problem is.
I mean you can try a different program…
Fusion 360 and Onshape have free options for students.

when i put the 7.10 measurement it says invalid constrain
yeah but does arent infinite they are finite they have a limit. So not worth it for me
i like something that is free simple and easy to use but doesnt have a limit of time
There’s probably another constraint in your setup that is conflicting with it
which one?
like i go to vertical dimension click on the vertices like youve said in the video put in the measurements and it doesn’t go. so if you can tell me what constraint ill be grateful since first im a 14 teen i shouldnt be doing these types of things and second i dont have any EXP in this areas
analyze the photos and tell me or ill go insane because of this suffering. i am just a 14 years old teen that wants to make his own yoyo since the market doesn’t offer v shaped angular yoyos like the Irony today
Dude relax, take a breath. Autodesk has Fusion 360 plus other programs free to use for school students, it’s all in their Autodesk Education Plan. Should be able to design in AutoCAD and transfer it to fusion with a few clicks. It’s a learning curve but I guarantee you’ll be thankful when you start seeing results. Go check it out.

Onshape has no time limit. You don’t even need a student license. You’re files are technically public but there SEO is awful so its unlikely anyone would find your file. For small projects that you aren’t trying to profit off of it works great imo.
