can i put my yoyo cad in the onshape without needing to do it all over again? And does it have those cool visualizers that you can texture the yoyo design and all?
Free for students as long as you prove that you are indeed a student, will stay active as long as you can. Through middle/high/college. Google Autodesk Student Edition, it’s easy dude. I’m old and use other software but I know Autodesk stuff is simple, strong, and easy to use. YouTube tutorials are abundant. Happy designing.

Your choice, I’m not going to push you to it. Nothing risky, free easy software. Can’t be any better. Plus you’ll learn something doing it that some schools don’t touch.
i really just want to finish my yoyo nothing more. Because ive been wanting to make my own yoyo for quite some time but didnt had the recourses to do it. now that i have them i really just want to design it print it and then CNC as a final product. People should like do a program for just designing yoyos that was simple easy to manage but efficient

ok take a breath again, what program are you using? FreeCAD? I’ll DL it tonight and look into it. Once I figure it out I’ll dm you and get your design and try to help.

Just want to let you know any program is going to have intricacies that are easier or harder than other programs, there is no perfect program. I would start a new sketch and see if you can create the dimensions you need and copy and paste the stuff over to your drawing. Sometimes you just have to take a deep breath and reset yourself to be able to see the solution. You might want to see if there are dimension or metric conversions for freecad not YoYo related to see if there are other solutions to your problem. You got this man

Calling out to some Fusion guru’s!
So I have made a sketch and I’m trying to turn it into a solid/revolve it. My current issue is that when I try to revolve it, it keeps disappearing on me. So there I sit thinking wtf am I doing wrong. This is the general shape, ugly I know but it’s a starting point. no axle, bearing seat, or sticky pad yet. any advise would be appreciated!
