Yoyo CAD cross sections.

What type of axle do ODs use? I saw someone call it an M4 axle, what does that mean?

They and many other companies use a m4 x .7 axle size which means 4mm diameter and .7 mm thread pitch I don’t the exact length they use sorry

Thanks a bunch.

I’m pretty sure OD’s axles are 14mm long.

Hey, do you still have the CAD’s for the Lab Experiment 1-21? I’d love to see that side by side with a Dietz.

Our standard axle (and the one used with Side Effects) is 16mm long.

While it would be nice, it’s like giving away the key to making a great playing yoyo. Make it distributed the same way, and it will play the same way. It’s like giving away the schematics to an iPhone, then anyone with the right equipment can make one.
One drop gave out the cad codes for the project, yet I dont know of anyone who made one or knows how

As far as I know, One Drop is the ONLY company that has EVER posted pictures of the yoyo CAD. ILYY has some of their design’s lasered into acrylic, but that’s about it from what I know.

I think Dingo was referring to this:

DID I JUST DOWNLOAD THE CAD FOR A PROJECT??? APUHPUSHFPUSFIUSNFPIUWF YESSS

ok stop the caps now.

I might be taking a class with a cmc wood lathe… wood projects here I come.
