Only thing I don’t like about that design is that it’s not clear it’s the Workhorse yoyo, or even a yoyo really. Maybe that’s just me though

It should be a gentle toss, a little forward. Once it clears your non-throw hand, move your throw hand forward to cradle the throw on the string.

I just imagine drawing a circle under/over the yoyo with my finger for any and all stalls. Maybe that’s helpful?
