Both the Weekender and Workhorse showed up during my lunch break. Only got a couple minutes with each but I think I’m in love. The weight of the Workhorse is light enough for modern responsive but enough to pull ofr some longer responsive 1A combos. The Weekender is light and smooth and feels really good for modern responsive stalls. I also got a Bolt, will check it out after work. Does anyone know off hand if the Bolt will take a slim bearing with the installed axle or does it need a shorter axle?
I’m pretty sure your Bolt will need a shorter axle - but mine was modified by @pyrotechnic to be a hubstack before I got it - so I could be wrong.
Thanks @Captrogers !!! It’s a great interview for sure
You guys.
Here’s a special treat for my gracious benefactor.
And thanks to @BooZSmall for editing it for me.
:3 Thank you Father
That video is the perfect demo for the Workhorse. Looping = Yep. 1A = Yep. 0A = Yep.
I am assuming you just transitioned through the styles without changing anything on the yoyo?
Great Job Mr. Steve! Great Job Ms. BooZSmall!
Mr. Steve set the Bar. Let see what you others are doing with your Workhorses?
Absolutely the same setup. It was all just one chopped up and edited take. I just had my wife record me just doing stuff for about 3-4 minutes. Glad you liked it.
Been EDCing the Workhorse since I got it.
It received its first rubs and dings today.
I Love this Off Road color way. The dings and rubs just camouflage right in!
Set up = 4mm wide D bearing and the Throw Yo string it came with. 4mm wide D bearing is my happy place on this throw.
I meant to do Kwijibo to show that you can do all of that yet still hop it off the string without it snagging. I just need to get that last hop, when I do land it… it ends up starting to respond and ends up in DON stall. I am just super impressed. I’m running the 5mm touched with just enough black moly to make it respond super smooth.
What mods are you doing for 0a on the wheel? I have a fixed axle wheel, that I thought was stock, that plays amazing. I wonder if it’s actually modded. I got it secondhand so I have no idea.
Oh right. Read the whole thread before asking redundant questions got it, got it.
Incredible! I need to see more of this on every platform possible please!!!
That was pretty much all of it.
I got some 4mm D bearings on your recommendation and it’s made my experience so much better!
The Workhorse is currently my EDC as well. So good.
Is there any additional parts I would need if I wanted to try a 4mm D?
Sounds like it’s all the rage
The axle that comes with the Workhorse works just fine with them.
BTW, @Pun1sh3R, do you happen to have a similar source for C bearings?
Oooo with rubber shields too? This is awesome, thank you for this
Are you folks greasing these, lube, running dry?
