Oh man - I’ll be chasing a Cherry Bomb as soon as info comes out.

The title that it’s ready got me really excited for a minute lol. Forgot it was an old video.

As a new member who missed the pre-order, this is exciting to hear!

I can’t wait to see how the Cherry Bombs look with the Visco Elixir strings. It was a last-minute color change choice on the strings, and I’m pretty damn sure it was the right choice.

Our backyard has become a mud pit. Got invaded by stilt grass, and then a horribly dry summer and slushy winter, with a dog and daycare, it’s horrific lol. We are hoping that we will be able to get a good yard started this year now that we are pretty sure the stilt grass has been killed.

I’ve been putting clover down the past 2 seasons to “fill” in my lawn  It’s working, just very slowly.

Every spring I hand my kids a big bag of clover seeds and ask them to go nuts. Throw it everywhere. We are about half clover after a couple years. It’s nice and a lot more tolerant and environmentally friendly in this dry climate.

I have to remind the landscapers every year not to kill the clover lol. They are always so confused.

I love clovers. But I’m also anti grass so I’m no source of lawn care inspiration haha.

This lawn conversation has me laughing. Pristine, clover filled, etc - Me over here looking at my wild yard going “do I have to mow this thing again…” But if I’m being 100% honest, my wife does most of the mowing - just the way the schedules fall.

Had to give up gardening and lawn care, my disability and hard work in the sun don’t mix well. So I found a landscaper I like. I put some cash under the door mat every Monday when I wake up, and the lawn mower fairy comes by and mows and trims while I’m working and then like magic I have a beautiful lawn next time I look outside.

I go out sometimes and “faux” the lawn if I can get away with it. If there are a couple of tall weeds / beds out there, I will trim them down a bit with the weed wacker so they don’t look as obvious and I can get away with another week or so of not mowing, lmao!

If it were up to me, I would just have trees and patches of grass. Sadly, the hurricanes have a say. If it was also up to me, I’d just have a concrete surface for a lawn, but the wife and HOA won’t let me.

My gravel yard doesn’t require much maintenance. Occasionally some bermuda grass will pop up and I have to kill it. The agave are kinda taking over though, they grow so much faster than you’d think.

Nice! Would love some agave. I live in what is considered a desert but we also get some snow and it can get to below 0 on the rare year so my cacti gardening is limited but I do have a beautiful paddle cactus that lives 365 days a year on my porch snow and all.

Flowered last summer even.

that looks like an opuntia. they’re amazingly hearty! very forgiving and adaptable. growing up my old man was into growing cacti and succulents. he built a huge greenhouse that was amazing until a hurricane had its way

Bummer about the hurricane. Greenhouse had been one of my dreams.

You are correct! I looked it up from my order. It’s an Oregon native Opuntia Auera

theyre awesome, but vicious! the spines are very fine and the hairs are called glochids and they have barbs. they detach from the plant easily and get stuck in clothes and skin, as opposed to the cacti with rigid thorns that don’t break off easily

tldr don’t touch the hairs or brush up against it lol

My wife bumped into it once and she can attest to this fact. It now lives slightly further from the walkway on the porch.
