I am! This gives me something other than doom scrolling to do.
Oh yeah, the PNW (at least where I live) is pretty much Summer and Winter with a liiittle hint of Spring and Fall.
BOOMERS:
What kind of merch would you like to see for MRM other than tees and stickers?
The climate in eastern WA is the same. Sagebrush, tumbleweeds, sand, large rock formations, farms, cows. Maybe 8 inches of rain in a year if you are lucky.
Banana-Duct Tape Logo Shoes!
as long as you have them in my size, could you even do a 13 wide?
I can do a 13, but I don’t have the option for widths
At least you have hints of Spring and Fall. All we get down here is Summer, in various steps of degrees (admittedly, we’ve had several cold fronts this “winter” season, but that’s an outlier)
Darn! that won’t do me any good, at least we tried.
I definitely want a shirt. I may or may not be collecting and wearing them all the time.
I like the Koozi’s and Cups. Can we do Sox? Keychain? Any other suggestions?
I can do socks. I’ll have to check on keychains!
themed cw’s for mr5a? could the keychain come with a knot pick attached? coffee mugs, coasters, buttons/pins, hats? dunno if any of that is feasible or desired, just spitballing
I’ll be releasing some new CWs in May
As for the rest, I can do most of them, except knot picks!
Snag yourself a sticker from Throw-Yo / @rkalajian !
Got myself a YYBC Easter Baper-fly!
Also, the death’s head moth on the other side, because it’s sweet!
I’ve made a few along these lines with varying amounts of inverse curve. This is the one I made for myself
I like the shape, plays fast and is good for sideways tricks and clean looking helixes on sidewinders.
Cons would be less space for response shapes means you rely more on the axle/string pairing for good response.
Also a fast playing throw with a big gap at the rims can be pretty wobbly hitting stalls (that force has to go somewhere). I end up doing more Disco Balls, which I adapted into Down the Drain as a way to redirect that force into a roll or a Dumptruck and keep my flow going.
Sounds like it’s a unique little shape.
I love the look of that yo-yo, by the way!
You can’t fool me, I know a Gremlin when I see one!
