Its about that time to pass on the v1 workhorse PIF! Who wants next?
Ive loved my time with it. Its the throw ive been most consistent at hitting kickflips with, as well as just such a nice yoyo to hold.

i think this would be dope if the unicorns were less cartoony impo. we need to get UN to do a design colab. the UN unicorns on the mk1 unicorn look amazing!

I concur. Just a thought, what if we changed up the rounded type writer find this year and did a more “shop tee” type cursive? We can have it briefly overlap the main graphic art to close some of the empty space a bit. Just thinking out loud here.

That’s pretty rad! We should probably swap the Gundam head for a yoyo I’d imagine. Maybe one at a 3/4 angle for some cop perspective to match the vibe of the design.
Also, I love building Gundam models.
I love 'em, too. My 14 year old got three for Xmas. A HG and two RG. He’s working on the last one now.
I always forget how the scales and grades work for them. I like the ones that come in a slightly larger box though. The smaller ones test my sausage fingers lol.

Some tricks I think are essential for any Fixed Axle February:
- Trapeze Stall
- Brother Stall
- Double or Nothing Stall
- Split Bottom/ 1.5 Stall
- Lunar Stall
- Kickflip
- Varial
- Shoot The Moon (to Lunar?)
- Makin’ Da Zines
- Dump Trucks
- Sidewinder
There’s a lot here but I feel like these tricks are great beginner foundational fixie tricks. Maybe we can tag on one more intermediate newer fixie trick each week so returning fixie enthusiasts can grind a bit as well? And of course the weekly guest tricks that I’m sure will be awesome.
The Back of Hand Stall > Kickflip/Heelflip > Trapeze is a trick I think is very cool and has a natural progression from the stalls and basic flips.
What does everyone think? What are some tricks you’d love to see incorporated into this years Fixed Axle February?

Personally, I think the most essential tricks are the gravity pull and forward pass. Everything else is just bonus
