What would a 5A may logo look like. Anyone got any ideas?

I’ve had this for a while.

I’ve been curious, is the tree one for Tree-A?

Like a yoyo flying out of my hands straight into a wall .

But that may just be me… :eyes:

What about a YYBC Logo yoyo with a Counter weight instead of a Loop?

5A May 2024 in the Yoyo?

5A May 2024 in lettering Above the string?

I made a special counterweight instead :stuck_out_tongue:

Too close to the Steve brown logo for me.

Might I suggest creating graphics focusing on a counterweight more than the image being prominently a yo-yo or the all about the number 5 with a counterweight just thrown in.

My opinion, the counterweight is what 5A is all about. Make it the star!

Oh boy can I be a boomer too?

I like when the spinny toy comes back to my hand all by itself!

Just an idea as each themed month is 4 weeks
So far its set tricks for all 4 weeks
I think it may be good to do first 3 weeks as set tricks
And 4th week a freestyle up to 2 min long
And maybe a rule for it like has to include a trick from any of the set tricks in previous 3 weeks
Just a thought

Can I also become a boomer? Love 0A!

First print of a Boomer Weight for 5A May. This one is too heavy for my taste at 17g, and I’m also going to reorient the print to try to reduce supports and get a smoother finish. I’m also dropping the exclamation point in the embossed text as it messes with the symmetry in a way I don’t like.

That’s fun. If you want to reduce weight, can you sink the letters into the sphere vs having them raised? Would reduce a little weight and also might feel a bit smoother.

I like the look of the raised letters personally. I can drop weight easily by tweaking infill, or reducing size (it’s a big counterweight; the sphere is 30mm diameter).

I wanted to let you guys know before you hear the news on the streets.

It’s not a career ending injury but I may not be throwing today, maybe tomorrow. Luckily I’m a “tape me up Coach and put me back in” kinda guy.

Too late. It actually came on here as a special report just before the 11:00 news.

Get better Sir!

Care to share the injury?

My guesses;

  1. Wait till you see the other guy…

  2. Brain Fart caught me not paying attention, and then…

  3. You are making yourself practice lefty…

my guess is it’s a 2A related injury cause obviously Bill was planning to hop on the looping train! Choo choo!
