I’ve actually embraced it in some aspects to a degree. I do a lot of real image compositing, where I don’t use AI at all. But like on shirt images, designs, stuff like that, I like to use AI to make that kind of base image I would be looking for, then go in with Photoshop from there and clean it up and/or edit further as needed to get to what I was looking for. It saves a ton of time on the front end which is nice.

Your Final Workhorse Elixir Strings
OK, future Workhorse owners. Here are the strings you’ll get with your Workhorse when you order one. Each is a Throw-Yo SOLUTIONS v2 Elixir. What does that mean exactly?
- 100% Trilobal Poly
- Easy to string up
- Normal Play
- Fast Speed
- Killer Lifespan
- Slightly Coarse
Each Workhorse will come with one string, a lo-fi Throw sticker, and a QR code if you would like to order more.
Monobath Chroma Elixir
The first-ever Throw-Yo string was a Monobath Potion, a white and black 100% spun poly string. Monobath Chroma pays homage to that string, but as a 100% trilobal poly Elixir made of black and silver threads. These will come with the Founder’s Edition Workhorse.
Amalthea Elixir
Amalthea Elixirs, named after The Last Unicorn, will come with the Unicorn Workhorse. It’s a tricolor string with purple, pink, and black, with the purple coming through a bit heavier than the other two threads.
Woody Wagon Stain Elixir
How could we have a Workhorse without a Woody Wagon Stain string? The Workhorse V1 had 100% spun poly Woody Wagon Stain. The V2 has a spun/trilobal blend. The G2 Off-Road colorway will come with a 100% trilobal Woody Wagon Stain string.
Booster Elixir
Made for the G2 Gotham colorway, Booster Elixirs are blue and yellow, just like an annoying hero who shows up in Gotham from time to time. Skeets not included.
Vermillion Elixir
While Vermillion Elixir may look red and pink, it’s red and copper. The colors pop when the sun hits them. This string will come with the Cherry Bomb colorway.
Pure Soul Purple Elixir
My favorite color string I make is Soul Purple Elixirs. For the clear Workhorse, I wanted to show off a bit of myself, but “upgraded” a bit for this release. Pure Soul Purple Elixirs are purple and silver instead of the normal purple and steel. Unlike the Monobath Chroma, where each color wraps around each other, Pure Soul Purple blends both colors together in each twist of the string.
