Yoyo Appraisal Thread

I’d guess in the $80 range. Of late there have been a lot of BST’s with really highly priced FG, but I’m guessing this would be about reasonable.

Yeah, that really irks me. There are a lot of people who sell things like FG Avas for like $75, and they only retail for $65. And there’s one guy who sells B-Grade YYFs and says he wants $65-80 lol

Dxl battle championship GenYo ministar with the smallest little line doesn’t break ano or discord the bead blast. Was told by Ernie it was a 1 of 10

I’m going to say somewhere in the $60-$80 range, but you may want to wait for others to chime in. I have a 1/1 Ministar that I’ll probably post here later, perhaps tomorrow…

FG Avas for $75 is a fine deal. $65 + $15 shipped from Canada makes that an $80 throw. You have to figure in the cost of shipping.

This is, unfortunately, one of the downsides of evaluations through this thread. In reality, the value of a yoyo is what someone else will pay for it. As a recent thread by TA so readily showed, people value things differently. My feeling is that once a throw has been owned, unless it has some rarity, or extraneous demand (I’m thinking of the Yeti right now when I write that), that devaluation through prevous ownership is significant. Of course currently CLYW hold value better than some, but regardless, I would not normally factor shipping into the value of a throw, nor would I expect it to hold value, simply because it is no longer new. Now this is a personal opinion. But what you will find is most of the evaluations throughout this thread show depreciation significantly greater than $5 in $80, particularly when nearly 20% of the cost of a yoyo is supposedly shipping. I’m not saying I think this is inherently wrong, because again, if someone will pay it then it’s fine, but I think a general consensus would be that the value would be less than $75.

Would like to note that I wasn’t able to sell my mint fg ava until I dropped it to $50

This. Additionally as far as the value in general goes, it’s no different than buying a new car, as soon as you drive it off the lot, or in this case, as soon as it arrives at your front door, it loses a large part of its value. The run of the mill Chief colorways that people are paying $145-165 retail for seem to be priced from $100-125 and I imagine are generally actually selling in the $100-110 range save for the select few where a person wants a specific colorway and snaps it up without haggling much.

When it comes to FG CLYW, unless I was desperate for a specific colorway (which I probably wouldn’t be if I was already settling for FG) I personally wouldn’t be willing to pay more than $60ish.

OOOHHH that’s a good one. I’d guess somewhere in the $200 region if it’s not quite mint. Something like that I reckon. I’m sure you could get a little more for it on the right day though.

The appraisal is…give it to me lol

But in all seriousness $200-$250. If you did ever want to get rid of it, hit me up.

I know one just sold for $250 recently.

I LIKE THIS PRICE THE BEST.

D-bearing Sky Walker.

Assuming mint.
Solid colors - $70-$80
Fanceh colorways - $80-110

I bought solid black one from YYE for $135. Talk about overpriced…
