Hi. This Yoyo belonged to my father in law who was born in Minnesota in 1929. From some minimal research, it may be from the 1930s as the markings match that found on the Smithsonian website (https://www.si.edu/object/duncan-genuine-yo-yo:nmah_1191975)
There appears to be some remnant of string, but not easy to fish out.
Any ideas about value?

That’s an N17. It’s the sig for one of their Chinese players. I think that particular colorway was from a lucky box but I could be wrong. It’s worth a little less than retail since you can still buy them new. Retail is $75 so I would say used would be $60. @mkmavvl

How much are OneDrop Projects and P2’s? Having trouble finding some numbers.
solid projects in good condition fetch $250+, mint with box/goodies start to creep $300+
project 2 id say mint ones could hit $200+ but i see most going in the $90-120 range if damaged and $150-175 range in good condition
splashes/fades of both are rare enough to where you should ask for offers

Crazy stuff. Projects used to be like 90 USD about 10 years ago. I got my Sunrise Fade one for 170 USD back then. Haven’t even seen a Project on here in a long time, but P2s pop up every so often.
