Would anyone be willing to post a 0A trick for us to continue our game of Yoyo Horse?

What exactly is 0A versus Modern responsive?

0A is the style. Can be done on Both Fixies or Modern Responsive yoyos.

My November has been the single (type) of yoyo for the month. Good old Butterfly, “No Bearing November.” I’ve swapped butterflies depending on my color mood that day but has been 100% fixie butterfly.

Also got another coworker roped into throwing as he’s rocking a Butterfly XT.

Dad joke day 20

I found a book called How to Solve 50% of Your Problems. So I bought 2.

Dad joke day 21 / 22

Can a frog jump higher than a house?

Of course, a house can’t jump.

I was going to try an all almond diet, but that’s just nuts.

I’m not in the dad joke challenge, but it was hard to pass up sharing this one.

“What has 5 toes, but isn’t your foot”
…“my foot”

Wk0 - Flame On! | Wk1 - 2 Feet | Wk2 - 3 Feet | Wk3 - 4 Feet

Update Week 4 (Towertastic):

  1. Donate to the cause: Movember - Home - :white_check_mark:
  2. Light a yoyo on fire (still don’t recommend doing this) - :white_check_mark:
  3. Beard from scratch, no trim - :hourglass_flowing_sand:
  4. YoYo Horse Participation - “H” :horse:
  5. String Grow Challenge: Current Level - String Length | 5 Feet

5-foot string is unacceptable, lol. String is flying everywhere, hooking on stuff, I’m hitting the ground, the ceiling and generally just look like I’m participating in a ribbon dance I feel like. Not a fan, but interesting for certain. One week left, 6-foot string I don’t even want to think about, but it’s going to be an experience, haha!

Went with a “tower based” picture trick theme this time. Thought it would be cool with the longer strings, but it definitely made it weird. Hard to keep tension in the strings, and just generally off-kilter with a lot of my existing muscle memory. Hope you enjoy! Grand finale next week!

The beard is also starting to get a little too long for me, past the point when I would normally trim it. I can feel the whiskers tickling my lips, they’re saying “trim me, trim meeeeeee.” Trying to stay strong.

Next one you’ll need a stepstool! Lookin’ GREAT!

Thanks! I think I might actually, haha. I’m 6’ so I thought there would be a little play with the 5-foot length, but not as much as I was imagining, lol. My poor ceiling fan was getting beaten up.

Yeah, careful with that! There is the possibility of really being injured when a ceiling fan is involved.

Daily dad joke day 23

I stayed up all night wondering where the sun went, and then it dawned on me.

i like the baby cradle at 1:00 whats that variation?

also the light blooper was hilarious. i just put my first marks on a yoyo ever yesterday when i got extra excited for my kwyjibo hop and threw my avalanche into the spinning ceiling fan

Dude, you better be careful with that Avalanche… the Yo-Yo Protection Service* is liable to remove it from your possession!

*I am the Yo-Yo Protection Service

Thanks, and yeah, that fan/light has gotten smacked around quite a bit over the many YYBC events we’ve had. I’m just happy it’s still going and hasn’t shattered at this point, haha!!!

The fan scuffs have at least been able to get wiped off so far on the throws that have been attacked, lol.

That trick was called “Rock the Baby on the Eiffel Tower.” Really fun one!

unfortunately for my poor avalanche, it has scar smudges now. it hit the metal arm instead of the blade

Well i didn’t sign up for the giving away yoyos bit,
But at a friendsgiving yesterday, i pulled out my yoyo after getting knocked out of the poker table, and taught a couple people how to throw a basic throw and a sleeper. As we were leaving one guy asked me how to get started with tricks and where he could pick up a yoyo, so I gave him my old dv888. He was thrilled at getting a metal yoyo, and now i might have a friend near me that i can rop i to playing too
