Mo is the best.
Ive been waiting for a fade, and if it was beadblasted ?!
I think the pyramatte finish is part of the appeal for me.
You already have 4 and arent even gonna buy another, let me voice my wants lol the OD blast is really nice
Now this is a meme I can get behind😎
I will buy another one for sure
I’ll be in for one when they drop! If you could do the old soda blast finish on them like the Markmont Classic, that’d be amazing. Would also love to see a run of Prescription, maybe a mystery box like the Marquis again.
I’m kinda with you here! Like the blast they did on the Overture. But don’t get me wrong, I’ll be hap-hap-happy either way!
I’m in for another top deck. You know I’m good for it David!
For solid colors, maybe the purple/pink you did on the diorama, a raspberry like the recent side effects, or a nice orange?
I do appreciate you guys always listening with an open ear.
I’m in. I passed on the first runs because of financial reasons and have been kicking myself ever since.
@da5id so about those November anniversary OG soda blasted Projects, lol
I’d jump on a clear (not silver) Top Deck so fast!
I don’t think I’d be able to say no to an orange Top Deck either.
Oh, and please leave the engraving off like you’ve been doing for the Top Deck (after the first run). I’m one of those rare few who thinks that One Drops without engravings have an elegant, timeless quality to them.
I had heard that silver was just another name for clear. Do some yoyos (OD in particular) have a silver pigment in the ano?
Clear refers to a finish that looks like raw aluminum but has a clear protective anodized coating, hence the name “clear”.
It’s also sometimes referred to as silver; in my experience silver and clear anodizing are the same thing, anodizing without a dye. Some clear anodizings look more uniformly silver because the yo-yo was blasted before anodizing, while if the yo-yo is just polished and not blasted before anodizing it will look more like raw aluminum.
Be that as it may, I maintain that the whole point of calling a finish “clear” is to indicate that it looks like raw, but isn’t. A “silver” finish looks very different from a raw finish (and by extension from a clear finish).
I have an NQP clear Top Deck I’d trade for another colorway. It’s an NQP for a few tiny black speckles in the anno.
@Ed-C as far as I know there’s no silver dye for anodizing; silver colors are done through anodizing w/o dye and how silver it looks vs raw is based on the finish of the metal before anodizing. The closest dye available is grey iiuc, but that’s not really silver.
That’s what i thought. Thanks!
