Just do what I did. Buy two and run one with a flat bearing and one with a concave. Problem solved!

Or me and get three. The last one is to hold the spare bearing for when one of the others needs cleaning.

I threw a curved bearing in mine today and it is great. It really woke up and the performance shines with the curved. The flat was fun, but I can’t go back now.

I picked up a brown. The Top Deck art makes me think of a traveling carnival. I feel like I would find this sitting on a table in a tent at that carnival.

Love the yoyo, too. Really stable. Excellent weight. My OD bearing went responsive in < 10 min, as always seems to happen to me. I put in a ceramic bearing I bought recently from Luftverk and haven’t put it down since.

Dang it, after seeing both those pictures of the brown Top Deck I couldn’t hold off any longer. I now have a brown Top Deck on the way to join my other 5.

Ok then. Memorial Day pushed payday out one more day this week. I applaud all of your restraint, I have a good feeling about my chances for getting my first Top Deck. Tomorrow though.

Good news is there’s plenty still left. It’s a really interesting throw. To me it’s not far off from the Grasshopper GTX, yet it’s a mono.

So my Golden new Top Deck will be here soon!! So excited. I’ve only dabbled a bit with unresponsive and so far I’ve only played the N12 Shark MYY, and the Duncan Barracuda. Both review very well and I think they play very nice, actually I prefer the Shark over the Barracuda by a small bit. Of course neither of these gets the same kind of reviews as the Top Deck.
This one seems to have a special place in the community and now it’ll have a special place on my throw finger.

It was my first metal yoyo after only using a plastic unresponsive for about 6 months. It helped me immensely when learning new tricks (and still does) due to its stability and spin power and I absolutely love it (I have 2 now). I still play with it very frequently 3+ years later.

Edit: it should be mentioned, using a concave bearing really adds to the stability. The flat feels phenomenal though. I like both, depending on my mood.
