It wasn’t my intention, but after landing a legacy peak, I’ve decided to seek out an og version, I like hulk smash, have nothing in that colour and in a stroke of serendipity it turns out that the 2nd run hulk smash og peak was released on my birthday; who am I to deny the universe.
Anyway, what I’m looking for doesn’t have to be mint/nmtbs or “glass smooth” however, it can’t be beat and can’t wobble like a see-saw (or a teeter-totter, for my American friends), according to my collector ocd it does need to come with a box, ideally although not a dealbreaker.
I’m happy to buy one if I can afford it but would like to try and trade. As such, I have the following for trading; I might be open to selling these if anyone really needs them but I’d rather keep the YWETs in particular if I can.
- Anti-Yo Buzine$$, I’d trade this plus cash, and I’d cover both of our shipping costs for the peak. No packaging with this one but do have extra pads. Condition is pretty good, two tiny dings on the purple side and a scratch on the yellow side, all pictured but the dings are so small it was hard to capture them. I won’t say this is vibe free but it seems pretty smooth to me, esp for an anti yo. Open to selling this one either.
- Anti-Yo / Recess, Danny Severance edition, gruntball anodized YWET. I’d trade this plus cash, and I’d cover both of our shipping costs for the peak. No packaging, again condition is overall very good, no dings or scratches but you can definitely tell it’s been played and handled a lot, some kind of scuff marks inside the catch zone on close inspection that can’t be captured on the phone camera. Again, I wouldn’t say this is vibe free because it’s an anti-yo, but it seems pretty smooth to me.
I’d trade the buzine$$ and the recess YWET together for the peak if you cover both of out shipppng costs (unless that seems unfair?) also possibly open to selling this one.
- Anti-Yo BAC, preproduction, blasted YWET. To me, this is a great piece of Anti-Yo history. As I understand it there were 30(?) of these made for the Bay Area Classic yoyo contest and sold there before the general release. Unlike the production version this one is blasted so its finish is more similar in touch to the bape2 than the production YWET. I’d really like to keep this so it’s trade only for the peak, for now (unless someone makes me an offer that I can’t refuse). I’d probably do a 1 to 1 trade for the right peak. Condition is excellent, no dings or scratches, due to the nature of the finish the cups seem to have picked up a bit of dirt and it looks like there’s some light white surface marks that could all be wiped off, I think. Again, I won’t say it’s vibe free but smooth to enough to me as far as I can tell.
