If you watched everyone of his world championship freestyles, and none of them had any captions time stamping them. You could still easily identify the order of his wins because the only thing different, is that in each consecutive win, he is taller. So very simple… First world, champion win he was kind of short and then the next one he was taller, and then the next one he was taller, etc..
Having that awareness makes it very simple to recognize the fact that by the time wins is 14th straight championship he will probably be 11 feet tall, lol
Worlds 1st/1A in 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026… ok…
What did he do with his yoyo at the end? I saw in the video that he threw it or something.
Yeah he threw it back towards the background.
He was just excited. Honestly never seen him show so much emotion in/around a routine.
Some people were saying he’d get disqualified for it. But honestly there was never a chance at that. Maybe if he’d thrown it at the Judges’ heads…but other than that no chance.
I was also curious about tossing the yo-yo over your shoulder right over the backboard and into the darkness, lol unless of course there are some people standing behind the stage and somebody caught it and got a cool yo-yo, lol
I wasn’t sure what it meant. It did seem kind of odd to me? I mean when you consider it pretty much look like the guy had first place on a lock and why wouldn’t he want to hold onto the yo-yo that he used in a freestyle, right?
So I talk to a source of extensive yo-yo information and experience and I asked him if he could decipher that for me? The first thing he said I found very interesting. He said have you ever watched any videos of guys throwing kendamas around? Of course I have. Why do you ask? He said if you watch enough of them, you’ll notice that some guys that pull off the craziest tricks… And when throwing Kendamas around you can pull off some pretty wild tricks. He said it’s not unusual for the guys to throw their.kendamas right into the ground. And it has nothing to do with being disrespectful to the skill toy or to anybody watching. It has more to do with the intensity and the adrenaline and excitement at the moment.
Come to think of it I seen people throw tennis rackets and golf clubs and baseball bats and you name it right ‘at the moment’.
And after all, the fourth Worlds 1A first place win… I guess he may just have been a little wound up in the excitement of the moment, you think?

5A, very technical but totally non-emotional… very cold, I don’t like it… for comparison… but a thousand times more beautiful in performance and not simpler (at 2:31 it makes me go crazy) and the horizontal tricks!!! Another approach, another result…
