Why do the Nine Dragons shells not work on the new Nine-Dragons

Why do the new Nine Dragons not work with the shells on older models. Its kinda dumb, to be honest.

I found that out the hard way as well when I ordered some replacement caps to change the color and have a backup on mine and they didn’t fit, haha!
Just FYI, the short/half caps won’t do the trick either. Also the hard way, lol.

I have one from around 2018, I ordered the full size clear yellow shells. These fit much better than the original.

I did notice on the bottom of YYE page that it said they were for the older version s
