This is an easy answer for me. H-shapes. They tend to be long spinning, stable, and slower. For me that is the perfect combination for a new player, specifically if you purchase a wider h-shape yoyo.

Sorry to necro, but is the Death Adder V2 an H or an Organic V? It is the best shape for me imo itโs slim, narrow, but is so comfy and perfect to throw
