On Superman right now. Have the whole trick pretty much down except for that last hop through the triangle. I’ve been on it for over a week now I’m still having so much trouble getting the yoyo back through the triangle for the last hop

It helps to get a swing towards your NTH to stretch the triangle a bit, like rocking the yoyo to swing it through the triangle.

Rancid Milk on my side, let’s go!

Yea trieng to get that triangle opened is hard… even with the yoyo still I have trouble opening it up… I’ll try swinging it towards my other to open it up I haven’t tried that

I think this is still the active thread?

I’m currently working on Beefhook and Ripcord Slack. I can’t land either… yet. I think a part of the problem is that I run hot and I practice in front of a fan, can make hooks and slack tricks a bit harder. I watched Jacob Gross’s & Brandon Vu’s video on it as well as one on the Skills Addict app. If anyone has some tips I’m all ears. I’ve only been at it a few days now. I got lucky and landed the ripcord hook once but I cannot land the Beefhook. It’s bit frustrating but I know it will be worth the effort one I finally start landing it.

Aight yeah so keep th index close to the yoyo. Follow it up and down like right next to the yoyo. When you release the string on nth index and pull with the thumb, pull towards yourself to open up the U shape and prevent the string from hitting its self. You want to do kinda like a quick tug w the thumb vs an extended long pull. Pull more if the slack is too slow or pull less hard if it’s going too fast. Keep hands closer together so the slack stays big and you don’t pull the string too far away so that it’s too small to catch the Yoyo. I think that’s all I got right now good luck yo

I don’t understand the obsession with beefhook🤣

Have you ever landed one?

Yeah. I also landed all the way up to quintuple beefhook

Thanks man, I actually landed it quite a few times a bit earlier. It’s a good feeling to get it. Now I just need to be able to land it every time. As always, I appreciate your help!

I honestly didn’t even know what it was until recently, I’ve heard about it but wasn’t ready for it. I think it’s probably more popular among us rookies that haven’t landed it yet and want to figure it out because I don’t think it just comes naturally for a lot of us. It’s a cool looking trick too!

starting on rancid milk, trying to get comfortable with the first triple houdini thing and the first kamikazi-ish jump drop parts… should have tried to learn this a long time ago.

still working on a branding to popout to branding to flospcle combo… landed it a couple times but not consistent yet.

got fairly comfortable with doc pops phantom whip element ( love that it gets you in a gyro to bind position) and also a folding triangle gt thing… not really into the upside down triangle move in doc’s video ( you can’t really pause to accentuate the gt when its upside down and already falling out in a split second) but i do i like to rock the baby on the trapeze in the folded triangle and then roll it to a cross armed gt.
