what size bearings do hubstacks use?

it appears to be a small d sized bearing, is that true? or is it a special size, cause i’m think about getting a pair of z-stacks or rice stacks with my next order seeing as they’re fairly cheap, i have a couple d size bearings laying around, and i’ve always wanted to try hubstacking one of my throws

They use A-sized bearings

Yup. A sized bearings. I think also there is a Terrapin X kit with a pair of bearings for stacks.

A and D sized bearings are close in size, but they aren’t interchangeable. I got a Beysick someone put an A-bearing in it and it played horribly. I got a Terrapin X Wing Cut D sized bearing and it plays really nice now.
