What pads for a sleep machine?

Hi everyone, I wanted to figure out what pads I should get for my TK sleep machine?

The Sleep Machine doesn’t need any pads, just put a cotton string on it and tune the gap to the level of responsiveness you want. I think I have heard of people using a Duncan friction sticker on 1 half of TK yoyos, though.

They are called Turbo Disk. It’s a cotton sticker

I was looking for a set of turbo disc but no one really sells them. I also I tried tuneing it but it’s still kind of unresponsive/responsive.

Turbo discs are ideal, and old Duncan stickers with the tacky stuff scratched off work the same way (since they are also linen).

I’m actually running one at present with a single thin dif pad and a pretty wide gap and it’s playing great. Tug responsive but not snaggy.
