What do you prefer? Bright coloured POM Knick-KNacks or transparent polycarbonate ones?

I guess if I did a run, I could make both. Theyāre slightly different. The POM is about 9g heavier (51g) and feels gummier. The surface doesnāt look as pristine either. Not saying the POM is worse at all, just different.

I donāt care for clear. Harder to see.
What would be the price difference between the two? I would prefer the clear but if the pom is in that sweet spot of $50 I would go pom all day.
The clear looks like it could sneak up on you and be a one way ticket to a black eye.

Itās really not in the $50 sweet spot. More like $80.
Itās a really ālast foreverā kind of yoyo. It would take some very serious abuse to break it, although, I havenāt tested out out yet. Itās super solid.

I prefer the clear, but, the important part is Iām trying to come up with some clever way to incorporate āpaddywackā whenever I see āKnick-KNackā - maybe a counterweight?

I think Iām going to stick with the clear polycarbonate. I think all round itās just a bit better.

Plus I think you could use the clear one to start fires in an emergency situation like a magnifying glass.
