Did anyone else expect the grizzly to start dancing or pull out a picnic basket with sandwiches and chips or something. I find Iā€™ve become quite skeptical of jhb8426ā€™s posts about bears.

But no, this clip was truly kind of frightening. Fortunately we donā€™t have any bears in my neck of the woods. Coyote and recently some cougars, but no bears. (Oh, about 4 1/2 or 5 hours east of here there are some Chicago Cubs, but they donā€™t seem to present a threat to much of anyone.)

All I could think of while watching that video was ā€œThe bear, the bear and the maiden fair! All black and brown and covered with hair!ā€. I may have a slight addiction to Game of Thronesā€¦

Iā€™m not going to be that guy who talks about how tough he is on a semi-anonymous internet forum, but bears arenā€™t as scary as like getting hit by a car or something.

Well, just SEEING a bear probably isnā€™t as scary as being hit by a car.

But I bet being mauled by a bear is as scary as being hit by a car. :wink:
