What does the X mean?

I’ve been out of the game for a few years and I have been noticing a lot of throws with an X version. Haymaker X, Arbiter X, etc…is this just a naming trend or does it denote something about the yoyo? Hard to find anything about this.

It’s sometimes used for sequels to yoyos (instead of calling the new Haymaker the Haymaker 2, they called it the Haymaker X). There isn’t, like, a design reason for the X to be aware of and sometimes brands probably just do it cus they think it sounds cooler.

What does the S stand for?

If I remember correctly, it doesn’t stand for Superman. It’s a Kryptonian symbol. Can’t remember if it just means Krypton or what.

Jake told me the X on the Arbiter was due to moving the inner ring to the catch zone, but i forgot why the X symbolized it.
