Admiring the autumn, while throwing the 6061 Galaxy Diver. By far the most comfy and soft playing bimetal.
Anyone who has tried both the 6061 and 7075 version can tell me how they play different?
They honestly don’t play any different in my opinion. I had the same 6061 you have there and picked up a 7075 to see what the difference was. I couldn’t tell. If you blind folded me I wouldn’t be able to tell you which was which. I ended up selling the 6061 because I liked the color of the 7075 better.
Both are incredible, smooth and powerful throws.

Thank you! That’s why I was hesitant to buy the 7075 version, because I thought they were too similar, although I might buy a galaxy diver dinosaur with ti rings.
I have the 7075 v2
Protip: Not worth the upgrade from the 6061 ver. unless you for some reason really like sevens. Or v2’s.
But I felt a small difference. 7075 v2 feels like, a kiss more solid
Now that one, which I also have, is worth the investment. Definitely a different play feel. Even smoother and more powerful than the Diver.
However, I would pick the Omnitron Noah over it for a C3 with Ti rings. (Black w/ orange being the preference here). In the hands, the Dinosaur does feel a bit like the Diver, which is not a bad thing. But the Omni has a very different feel, smoother lines, a bit softer feel, but plays at or above the Dino’s level. My favorite of the 3, but they are all excellent picks.

Alright the Omnitron Noah has officialy joined my yoyo whislist.
Trying out summer tires on the Otter and Orca all day since I had to change them on the Wish, I didn’t like the way the Wish played at all with snow tires. Are the gold pads a different thickness or the same as either the summer or snows? I don’t notice it on the Klondike and never had a problem with the Otter or Orca but the Wish I instantly didn’t care for how much friction I got from the snow tires. Otter and Wish had blue pads but the Orca had white ones, I like recessed pads better for sure.
Pomodoro by atmos is so good. @rnsy
And it looks like it’s with peppers
Can’t stop addicted to the shindig…. This life is more than ordinary.!
Here you go.
7075 v2 Diver on the left
Galaxy Dinosaur in the Middle
Omnitron Noah on the right.
You can see the profiles of the Diver and Dinosaur are quite similar, they both use the stepped curve. The ON is smooth.
The Diver and Dino have a pronounced edge right at the ring whereas the Omni ring mates deeper and is smoother, less dramatic as it transitions into the ring.
So, the Dino is like the Diver but more so. It’s pumped up and powerful. The Omnitron feels more refined, more comfy in the hand and is a different throw.
I love all 3 of them and you can’t go wrong with any of them. But if I’m picking just 1, I’m going with the Omnitron Noah.
Hope this helps.
It won’t help your bank account though…

Nice! Thank you for the comparison! Also, with these colors they go well together for sure.
Kind of a repeat post cause I just posted on a different thread with this pic, but I have been on a Mowl binge recently and I’m falling in love with their stuff.
Mowl always has such good engravings on their yo-yos.
I always liked that one and what sweet landing pad
Gooood morning! Grunt protos are back from ano, this solid purple seemed like the proper choice. It’s a smaller denser design. With it being the first proto I tend to take some extra time to really gauge what changes might need made. I also have the honeymoon phase when I get new yo-yos in so it takes some time to be objective instead of just pushing right into production. With all that said I’m really happy with the grunt. Giving one away today over on the patreon page.
