Yeah I’ve noticed qa on magic to be lacking. I have noticed when it’s like offset or some other brand made by myy it’s more likely to be a solid throw as the brand checks there work before it’s sent out but direct from myy seems to be more questionable or at least in my experience.
I have no reason to doubt, me with their yoyos, 8 if I remember correctly, I only had a small problem with one of two K1, all the others I was lucky enough to get smooth as butter, but I understand your frustration but it’s also much more frustrating when high quality brands don’t check and distinguish between the various grades… Has Yoyorecreation ever done this? perhaps in the last few years before, certainly not… and you saw yourself arriving at $130 yoyos, with evident signs of manufacture (my Sleipnir 2009), yoyos with half a faded green cup (the 44 Clash by Riccardo Feaolini), a Mr. Butcher who will vibe (always mine), etc…
Oh cool! Nice use of reflectors.
What is the ribbon? Kinda looks like sandpaper?
The @DocPop Moon Rock Icarus and Shawn Exploder.
Just a strip of coloured card I cut, putting sand paper next to it would freak me out
Haha…good point.
Thanks again for another breakdown!
I was actually throwing my Hinemosu earlier today and seeing your post made me grab my Colossus S!
Both extremely good players, the Colossus S is a great budget bimetal and the Hinemosu in my opinion is one of the best out there. Love them both.
I agree.
I’d sure like to find a red Hinemosu some day.
Likewise on the red Hinemosu! Waited too long to pick one up and narrowly missed out on the acquisition.

I am in for that game. Good comparison you just feel the price difference. Not sure if it matches the ratio but yeah there is a distinct difference. Blasted inside of the colossus is nice though. Got a blackout blasted mavetrick also which I love just a tiny bit more
Oh, I’m green with envy over that red Hinemosu!
