Oh yeah! Good times. what color is that end? Almost looks light grey/dark grey
It’s the Eetsit colorway. The End I have is from the recent release on the RSO site. The full name is The End Part II (Prelude). The color is actually hard to define. I‘d say it’s a mix of brown, grey and bronze-ish. My camera doesn’t pic it up so well. Maybe you can see the color a bit better in this picture…
Throwing back tacos like a dying man.
…And this new old friend.
My emotional support Peak tagged along today
Sugar is so good. One of my favorites. I actually have a hard time deciding if I like the Sugar or Sugar High more
Unknown Wish is here!
Had to start throwing this as soon as I got it.
Absolutely love Howls Moving Castle since I read it as a kid and fell in love with it all over again with Miyazaki’s movie interpretation. All the subtle nods to Howl and Calcifer are personal and heartwarming.
Also Kay crocheted a frog today.
Bonus pics: Kay and I painted mugs, I did Calcifer and she did Spirited Away coal/soot sprites.
Sorry not sorry for all the pics.
lovely
Thowing these today, valencia orange end prelude #43, and orange finale #59. Both of these A grades can be spotted easily as they are engraved off kilter on each half rather than right side up like the presentation grade releases. I Really like how these feel on the string
How do the Prelude and the Finale differ I read the Finale is more designed along the shape/specs/weight distribution of the OG End. Is there any noticeable difference in terms of play/feel?
Prelude is 1 mm wider. the rims have a flat spot where you can see the line transition to the body with sharper angles. finale is more rounded off so its smooth, no real defined flat spot. Also, finale schmooves are cut more exact to the OG specs and has less of a flat spot before transitioning to the body curve, the prelude has a wider flat transition from the outer schmoove edge to the curve of the body. as far as play feel, its not really a perceptible difference on string to me, its sort of just how it looks and feels in hand is slightly different.
