I’m so glad my DS bearings came in the day before this trip. I cleaned and re-lubed them and they are amazing. They are so smooth, and I am liking how the DS cut feels. Definitely going to get some more in the future. Gold in the Luftverk and platinum in the Orbital and Reboot.

Just got new innards for this old Tom Kuhn 3-in-1 No Jive i bought off ebay for $20. First couple throws and its working perfectly - sort of surprised there wasn’t a need to do more (shim, sand, wax, etc) to get it working well. This will probably by EDC wood, saving my favorite woods (SW Knack and and Gates SE) from unnecessary dings and scratches.

Okay so after I clipped myself in the eyebrow like three months ago my SO asked me to not play with the metal yo-yos for the week before the wedding. I said no problem I’ll give you two. This was cool but then ASTer came in the mail…She said that as long as I trust myself to not mess up my face, she trusts me and doesn’t care if I play with it. I do trust myself now so I’m throwing it! (No speed combos until after we got our rings on tho!)
It’s absolutely an amazing Yoyo and is pretty much everything I could have hoped for and more!

I’ve drawn blood (and actually have scars on my hands) from my yoyofactory bimetals lol. The Turntable 2.0 gave me one on the back of my right hand and the Miracle gave me an even bigger one on the back of my left hand.

ASTer is an immovable object. I love it, but it is so incredibly slow.
(That being said I guess not so much if you’re coming from a Hades)

Ooooo yah I spent like three weeks just using hades before it started to feel normal like w hades if I forget what I’m doing or am taking a long time to think, it goes so slow. If I’m trying hard and know that I gotta redirect the momentum it feels good and I can do it fast-ish but I like to just play it different. Aster doesn’t feel like that to me really but I also don’t want to push it. I said no speedcombos because that’s when I’m most likely to get chaotic and uncontrolled and it’s too much risk bc I’m not good enough for that yet. I almost started for a sec and had to stop hah this was a trap!
