What did you throw 2023?

Is the 555 just a special edition G5?

Yeah nothing different that I am aware of - just has 555 on it and it’s in the Aqua colorway

Cool! Thanks for the pictures. Do the plastic hubs pop onto the ends?

In recent days, I’ve been addicted to these two - Aitch and Goji. But there is still a lot of yoyos in the queue, if only the right mood comes)

Yeah they just pop onto the bearings, in my experience the traditional hubstack pieces (the round ones you see on 888s and stuff) rub against the screws but the dice stacks work fine.

That might be the most beautiful Aitch I’ve seen

This week’s 5a set up courtesy of Atmos.
Really getting into 5a this year. Progress is slow but getting there

The Grasshopper GTX is solid, but the Legato 2 is so much more light and nimble for those quick 5a transitions. My guy took a solid smack to tile awhile back and got a ding and some vibe so I’m not as nervous about using it lol

These have become my favourite counterweight

Throwing the Pomelo I just got from @addiction77 !

It’s massive! But so light, it really feels strange after throwing Hades and Top Deck so much lately. It’s super fun thanks Adrian!

Also it doesn’t fit in my soda crate lol

Onedrop T1 20/20
Absolutely one of my favorite Onedrop models!

I’ve even left the flat bearing in it :stuck_out_tongue:

You left the flat bearing in? You wild man!

Now, I don’t wanna brag too much or come on here and make anyone feel bad for not having one, but I am throwing the greatest yoyo of all time today.

On a more serious note can anyone tell me if this is a USA Dv888? I got it in either 2009 or 2010 I don’t remember which. Definitely don’t have the box anymore if it says on there lol

I do believe it is. AFAIK most of the yo-yos YYF makes in china have a text running somewhere on them that say’s something along the lines of “Made in China”.

Yep, even the district were it was made. At least they used to.

Yeah, I have a USA made DV888, & a Supernova & H.O.T. that were made in China. The DV888 has no engraving other than the branding, but the Supernova & H.O.T. both have engravings indicating Shenzen, China.

Yeah this one has nothing but the branding engraved, I didn’t know there were any even made here until I saw it somewhere in another thread. Doesn’t matter either way to me I was just curious
