What did you get in the mail today? 2021

Thanks @Sinister_Yoyos ! I am sooooo glad you liked it!

Can you compare The Don to the Batsquatch by chance? Batsquatch is easily the best organic I’ve ever thrown and both being bi-metal I’m curious. Add a ‘d’ bearing and even more so!

Like many have said, Batsquatch is ‘It’s like the MMC went on a diet, but also took steroids and did some liftin bro’. :joy:

I have the Batsquatch 7068 and it’s plays lighter than The Don. It’s a close call, but I think The Don is more stable, possibly due to the increase in spin power that the d bearing affords. The Don has a more v shaped gap than the Batsquatch, making the Batsquatch slightly more comfortable, but that’s just my preference. Both throws can handle all of the intermediate tricks that I can do. The Batsquatch is floatier, and The Don is more powerful with a slightly shorter spin time. There’s a good argument for owning both if that’s an option for you.

Why do D bearings increase spin power vs a C? I only have one D bearing throw and haven’t thought about or noticed any difference in spin from another yoyo.

D bearings are smaller in bore size (5 mm) and in outer diameter (11 mm) than a C bearing (bore: 6.35 mm, outer Diameter: 12.7 mm). That said, the smaller the bearing is the more RPM you get (faster spin).

you probably won’t notice it spinning faster but you should notice it binds easier and at slower speeds in relation to C

I also got this box that came in last night. Ten spinstars with stickers, string, and trick lists for when I start teaching kids at my local pool. Special thanks to @YoYoExpertGarrett and the folks at yoyo expert for helping get this package.

Not yoyo’s, but something just as good.

**Also, if you want me to edit a certain word out of the names of some of the teas let me know. I’ll censor and repost it.

Saboteur is wild.

I like the little spike the Saboteur has (like the Assassin has). Haven’t played with it much yet, but it seems to have a similar profile to a lot of yoyos lately (the 44 and MCMO come to mind). Not sure if there’s a name for that little drop off after the response, but I think I prefer that to a plain organic shape.

No clue yet, I’m waiting for a teapot I ordered to arrive as well so I’ll let you know when I actually try it. Apart from the strangeness of the name it’s actually a really nice Oolong tea.

I got an unparalleled Flash. Blank box, little packing paper, or plastic, no string. I was kind of bummed and surprised with the lack of anything but the yo-yo. Plays smooth. I think I’m letting the meh packing quality interfere with my initial thoughts on how it plays. I’m gonna give it a few days to decide whether or not I like it!

I finally got my G2 gbps after waiting for almost 2 months. Absolutely loving it! I love how quickly it moves on the string and how easy it is to move. Haven’t put it down since I got it. Excellent work @G2_Jake.

Got a nice little unexpected twinning going on with my gbp and my hummingbird as well

It’s a hell of an oolong! Quite fruity - had the chance to try one - it’s name is just some marketing idea - the tea is awesome - but not for everybody wallet :kissing_heart:

Anyways - nice order - enjoy!!
