This one turned out great!
Thanks! Ya I like it a lot it has lots of deep blues, purples and pinks with a nice distribution of yellow, orange, red, silver and green highlights. Here are more photos for those interested.
YYSL Type-X works pretty well for narrower gaps. Pretty similar thickness to Kitty normal, but it feels a lot nicer and lasts longer.
I’ve been using Kitty normal nylon on my very small throws (Masamini V2, Aoda Littles). Seems thinner than Kitty normal poly but feels more comfortable due to the slickness of nylon.
I’m definitely in the thicker string camp - I tend to use the thickest I can get away with without snaggy binds.
That is an amazing Saturday market. Jealous!
It’s amazing and my new main, it plays lighter than the palp even tho they’re pretty much same weight and has more power so longer spin
How does it play and compare to other OD slimline stuff?
I would say it plays very similar to the deep state if the deep state was designed specifically for unresponsive. I really like it. Pretty light and fast but can handle anything I do on it.
This finally came through the messed up mail system. Over two months to arrive.
Thanks to @_void for the sale.
It’s a really fun yoyo. Had to swap out that flat bearing though.
EDIT.
Some months of play later. I have no problems with the flat bearing. I leave them in when a yoyo comes with them. Funny how you get better at aspects of yoyo, that you aren’t even aware of, till some time later.
I bought this yoyo strictly for the name. I didn’t know much about one drop at the time and saw a yoyo called ‘Halifax Saturday Market’.
I lived in Halifax for 20 years and regularly attended the Saturday Market, so I had to have it.
Luckily it is also a really nice yoyo.
wut yoyo is this?
One Drop, Halifax
Think @zhuangyuhao was looking at a previous post of the Black Cannon from Markmont
Sorry, I keep answering the wrong questions.
