It’s curly bubinga. Beautiful stuff. Unfortunately I destroyed most of it trying new processes. Smelled nasty when cutting it. Like

Aw man lmao, if you ever get more of it, I’d love to buy one from you. Bubinga is a stunning wood - I’m a drummer and on high end exotic kits, woods like bubinga are frequently used. Perhaps a properly stained and lightly glossed walnut could give a similar look?

Today I fell in love.
Deep State, color is a olive gold mix. Might try and half swap with a clear for the Eetsit look.
Playing it with a thick lubed bearing. I’d have killed for this back in the nineties.

This guy finally came to Canada. Pdx-yo Locus in Midnight Blue (Looks black due to my warm lighting). This yoyo is FANTASTIC! And it is absolutely stunning, feels great in the hand, is dead smooth and plays with a perfect balance of string presence and controlled hop. I don’t know how more people aren’t talking about this one, I thought it would sell out pretty quick. This is my first Pdx-yo and it feels very premium! - I highly recommend! 
Ps: Does anyone know what string it came with? Seems to be a hybrid poly-nylon. Feels nice!

They picked a such a great set of colorways for this run of Akitas. Horsehead Nebula, Wolf Lake, and Northern Lights all look so nice. I imagine everybody who picked one up had a really hard time deciding which one to grab.
