Some strangs. No note though, so what are the pink and green bois? @BadWolfeCo
Edit: Looks like Gladiator (green) and Warrior (pink)! Sweet!

You’re Welcome took me a while to find Grendel in my Contacts.
Finally found you in my emails from 2009/last contact we had
Best Regards, Frank
Are you making many new models?
@Grendel what are your thoughts on it?
So far there great. Only had them for six hours. I brought the tank with me to work and it’s pretty sweet. The brute force is really nice and I’m looking forward to using it. Thanks again for the tip!
Not really, just the Brute Force for now as it’s something I started years ago and finally had time to finalize the design.
The latest Tank is branded BTB (back to basics) which is from an original Tank batch made early 2000’s without the DIF log and were to be Anodized and Laser engraved with the Dif-e-Yo Logo, but got too busy with other orders and they went on the back burner.
I recently found them packed away and polished them, then put the Dif-e-Yo logo dome sticker on them.
Hence BTB, no Anodize, no Laser = no frills.
Best Regards, Frank
I wanted something new from you!
Excellent.
Finally found a personal grail of mine:
Can’t believe it’s in my hands.
Big thanks to @JellyToast954!
Thats a monstrous pairing right there.
Been following your post a longgggg time. Happy you finally found it.
What kind of response system does this have?
They use Dif pads, unless I’m mistaken and it’s different than the BTB tanks.
Dif-Binder response pads.
No idea what year it is. @Exmime can you confirm?
Ripped a brand new string in like 15 minutes due to rust on the axle. Put some baking soda on the axle, soaked the broken string in vinegar, and went to town. All clean now! If it breaks another string I will look into swapping the axle out for wood.
That’s mid eighties and made in the USA. Also known as a Thick Wing because the foil design of the Butterfly. Should be a good player if the axle isn’t to corroded. Some times I just break them in with my old 1A strings, playing also helps buff the axle back out.
Nice! Older than me! It’s a great player so far, and still only the one broken string. Axle looks great after the vinegar whip™️ (I’m calling it that now, even though I’m probably never going to do it to another throw ever, and did not come up with it). The halves are a little loose on the axle, and I can sort of… Adjust the gap? Idk.
When I’m more awake I’ll definitely be playing it!
