I actually did the opposite as I parted ways with my Blizzard 
Long story short, there was some flaws in it and needed to be replaced. I got it boxed up and shipped out today and am expecting a new Blizzard next week

Your are right Owen, the First Base is a good throw.
I just received 2 Wood Beginners (1950’s) and a Mexican made Butterfly (1980’s).
44rpm Blues. Very fun throw. Wasn’t sure how I would like it at 64g, but, it is very good. It wants to go fast, and, my play style could use some speed encouragement. Also, the burnt wood smell is fantastic.

Replacement Blizzard, no more string shredding and damaged bearing seats! Kudos to clyw for making the quick move on getting it replaced for me! Apparently a few other Maiderade blizzards were also having problems.
Another mail day could happen at the end of the week for me

I kind of hate you for being able to afford a Hideyoshi and two Big Dippers, AngryGumball. My wife has put a moratorium on my yoyo purchases for a while, as we’re about to have a baby, and extraneous purchases are being limited. 
Excited about the baby, but I want a Big Dipper!

Nice find, I never even considered picking up a RecRev until I got a first gen re-release octave in a trade at a contest. It’s surprisingly good and really beefy in the rims. What’s the IOU like?
The IOU is amazing. It’s a delrin/metal hybrid model that is super smooth with really nice momentum. The IOU has a solid string presence with good spin time. So far, it’s my favorite of the bunch.
