Another week another trade… hahaha.
Nothing this week, but that’ll change in 2 weeks
Got my Bapezilla.2 today, along with 100 lime green blueprint strings.
First few throws impressed me, though I could start to see how quickly that finish eats strings. So I started buffing the gap with my belt and also a pair of old jeans.
The buffing has definitely helped, but I still need to do more to get it where I’ll feel comfortable whipping this thing around full force.
Beyond that, it felt a bit heavy, and I was slightly disappointed that my fat thumbs couldn’t utilize the huge inner grind ring. So, I switched the anti-yo SEs with the ultralights in my Summit. And wow, what a difference, for both throws. The Bapezilla.2 is now the perfect weight for me and I can now use the lip for grinds, and I’ve cut down the floatiness of the Summit, which I wanted to do anyways.
Lastly, I’ve found my go to string, I think. The Blueprints are a bit rough at first like I’ve seen many people say, but once they soften up a bit they’re awesome. I’ll probably try some other stuff in the future, such as YYSL, Kitty, or Toxic, but I don’t know how I’m going to justify spending 4-5x as much per string when Blueprints are pretty damn solid.
Overall, I’m super happy with what came in the mail today.
That’s definately going in my signature soon as I can figure out how to place both our comments into it xD

I got a cool box from Dave Hall this morning - couple of yoyomuseum.com fixies, some Purgatorys, 2 Skilltoys.com FHZs and best of all the best case ever made, the Bandai Hyper Spinners Box! I had one many years ago and luckily for me Dave had an extra one in his collection.
