I’m not one for flashiness and fragile rim engravings and prefer unflashiness and low key, not-afraid-to-shove-it-in-my-pocket yoyos. I had a weak moment.

You know it’s a special mail day when I get the ‘good’ camera out…
I recently came into possession of a pretty banged up Citizen (#64). When I posted looking for advice, the incredibly generous @yoyodoc offered to clean it up for me. I expected a quick polish but never in a million years did I think it would look this good. I wish I had better ‘before’ pictures so you all can see just how far it’s come.
Not only does it look better, it plays better too, and no more painful burs!
The Doc is a great member of this community, and it says a lot that he was willing to help out a stranger without asking anything in return. Yoyo people are the best people!
