It’s mostly because the look of SpectraPly tends to look dull with use, because the face is end grain. It happens with other woods too in that orientation.
In retrospect, I should have cut the blank I had so that the face was face grain, that would have helped.

Don’t forget any Playmaxx / Proyo stuff. I placed some Duncan Pro Mod Z spacers in my Cold Fusion. It has a little vibe but has stayed my favorite for awhile now.

It’s a boring mail day compared to yesterday (OD Intro and Rev2 arrived) but still a good day. Looking forward to trying out some new string.
Now that mail is done the weather here in WI is fantastic today…time to take the kayak out to the lake.

Bit late posting this… Got an amazing MFD hookup from @AKYOYOMIKE. #1 of 4 Dragon Burn Aotus. Also scored a Spidy-Sense from YYE. Almost missed this release for lack of yo-yo funds 
BST sales at the last minute allowed me to get two 
Also pictured is an MFD TikiRoller, which was a gift from @AKYOYOMIKE. I can’t put this thing down. It’s a lot of fun, but it’s also really great exercise/therapy for your hands. It’s been really helpful improving the range of motion of a finger(TH ring) I broke when I was a kid… and “set” myself… Couldn’t even roll the roller around that finger at first, now it’s barely a problem, and it’s only been a few weeks.
